Caesar Colombo (Lecco 1935) it is to today considered by the criticism a teacher of the Italian photo.
Known his  work of researcher and historian that he has brought him to undertake for more than forty years to the production of searches, books and shows of great success (from The eye in Milan, 1977, to the Photo Italian Years Fifty 2006), not so note, is instead its production as author of images.
The debut, to halves the years 50, it reflects a coherent investigation on the private and social stories of the man, where to professional and  personal searches are alternated.
